LGTM — an AI music video

I have been holding of from writing about AI in any capacity, but a music video that I saw today made me want to share it.

This video has been shared around the Software Engineering circles in the past few days, and I can’t help but relate to what is happening there. Of course a lot of it is an exaggeration, and yet it still hits the nail on the head.

Some notable quotes from the video that made me laugh:

• “the roadmap for the year is due in a week”
• “nobody knows what the code does inside”
• “it looks good to me, 40,000 lines that I didn’t read”
• “lets ship it to prod, its friday at 5, so I’ll leave it with God”

I really enjoyed the animation and the beat at first, but then I found out it was made almost entirely with AI…

This is the world we live in…
